This policy explains how Mountain Roots Ventures, LLC (“Mountain Roots,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use CampPro and its related services.

Information we handle

Depending on the features you use, CampPro may process an email address you submit for launch updates; account identifiers supplied through Sign in with Apple, including an email address; saved campgrounds, trips, campsite watches, packing information, camping setups, household details, preferences, and feedback; device and notification identifiers needed to deliver alerts; subscription entitlement information supplied by Apple; and limited service records used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot CampPro.

How we use information

We use information to provide and synchronize CampPro, monitor supported campsite availability, deliver requested alerts, manage accounts and shared households, recognize subscription access, respond to support requests, maintain security, and improve reliability.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help operate CampPro, such as Apple and cloud infrastructure providers, subject to their applicable terms. If you join a CampPro household, information intended for that household is visible to its members. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or our rights.

Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide CampPro, meet legitimate operational needs, and comply with legal obligations. Some short-lived availability history is automatically pruned. You can delete your CampPro account and associated cloud data from within the app. If you cannot access the app, contact us for assistance.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

CampPro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from launch emails at any time, manage notification permissions in your device settings, adjust CampPro preferences in the app, leave a shared household where available, and request account deletion. Apple manages App Store purchases and subscription settings.

Changes

We may update this policy as CampPro evolves. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date.
